What is the Centrifugal Air Curtain?
A centrifugal air curtain is an air purification equipment with a centrifugal wind wheel. The airflow enters from one or both sides of the centrifugal impeller along the axis and then exits in a direction perpendicular to the axis. The centrifugal air curtain is one of the most efficient and practical air curtain machines, helping to separate indoor and outdoor air.
How Centrifugal Air Curtain Works?
When the motor rotates, the fan’s impeller also rotates. The high-speed rotation of the impeller generates centrifugal force, which throws air outward from the impeller.
The air is then collected in the casing and exhausted from the fan. The exhausted air creates a negative pressure, forcing outside air back into the impeller under the influence of atmospheric pressure. This reciprocating rotation of the impeller keeps air flowing through the duct.

The first digit represents the centrifugal air curtain’s dustproofness. A “5” indicates that the centrifugal air curtain completely prevents foreign objects from entering, effectively preventing dirt, dust, and other non-corrosive substances from contacting the machine’s internal components.
The second digit represents the centrifugal air curtain’s water resistance. A “5” indicates that the centrifugal air curtain can effectively block water jets. A continuous low-pressure water jet of 3 minutes has no effect on the air curtain. This excellent protection means that the centrifugal air curtain can adapt to various industries and harsh working environments.
